The epiphany was that I had to do something in order to fix these issues. My socks weren't going to magically become whole again, nor were rubber bands going to magically appear without purchasing a bunch of green onion bundles. #IYKYK So, I ordered new socks (swear by these) and a bag of rubber bands on Amazon which took me all of 90 seconds. Problems solved. Why am I telling you this random story? Because life can feel chaotic and busy, but in order for it to feel less so, we need to do something about it. Lay out outfits for yourself and/or your kiddos the night before. Order groceries for delivery or pick up to avoid spending a ton of time in the grocery store. Use Amazon Subscribe & Save for often-used items. MEAL PLAN! True, sitting down to pick then plan a week's worth of dinner recipes takes a little bit of time, but it greatly reduces mental load during a busy work and family week. If you can prep some of the ingredients and components ahead of time — great! If not, simply knowing what you're going to make for dinner vs winging it is such a game-changer. All that said, I'm happy to provide some inspiration to do just that with your free weekly meal plan! Fluttering leaves on the cusp of fully changing colors, singing crickets, and crisp morning air — it's a wonderful way to start the day together. Inspired by these lovely, early-fall mornings, I've included a couple of recipes in this week's meal plan that always see a huge uptick in traffic this time of year....
Hi Reader, The other day I found myself daydreaming of ways I could hack Chicken Noodle Soup so I could make it by the bowl on demand. 🤔 I decided to finely chop onions, celery, carrots, and garlic in the food processor then freeze the mixture in a Ziplock bag. Next I'd shred a rotisserie chicken and put that in the freezer as well. When a craving hits, all I'd have to do is simmer a scoop of the frozen veggies in chicken broth until tender, add a handful of dry pasta (obsessed with this for...
Hi Reader, Last week I published the recipe for Gluten Free Breakfast Bombs, and folks started making them the very next day (I LOVE when this happens)! What's a breakfast bomb, you might be asking yourself? Fair. 😆 It's a twist on Brazilian cheese bread that combines eggs, cheese, and breakfast sausage or bacon in a hand-held meal that's got a light yet satisfying crunch on the exterior, and a soft and chewy-gooey interior. In a word: irresistible. 🤤 Bake a batch then reheat all week for a...
