Hi Reader, Happy Monday, and December 1st! I'm loving the fresh start of both a new week, and month. Feels like a great time to reset after an indulgent holiday, and regroup at the start of a merry yet hectic month. With that in mind, today I'm sharing a nourishing and warming soup recipe that takes just 20 minutes to prepare. Ham and Bean Soup is cozy, filling, and goes from fridge to table in no time at all. This soup is a reader and family-favorite — pair with this make-ahead side for the perfect cold-weather meal!
Reader Tami raves: "This soup was so yummy and easy! Both my boys loved it, perfect comfort food. ... Served with store-bought sourdough bread and butter, delish!"

It truly doesn't get easier or more delicious than Brown Bag Baked Ham. I honestly cannot wait to have a slice (or 7) on Christmas Day!...
Hi Reader, It's been cold and snowy here, which I'm (gasp) slightly enjoying as we lead up to Christmas. It's the kind of weather where only the heartiest and coziest of dinners will do. That said, my Chicken Stew has been hitting the spot lately! Savory, slightly-thickened, and packed with flavor, it features pulled chicken, veggies, and a flavorful, herby broth.
